Men's Health: Live well, stay strong

Testosterone is a key male hormone, supporting vital functions like sperm production, a healthy sex drive, and muscle strength. Low testosterone can lead to a range of symptoms, including fatigue, hair loss, reduced libido, erectile dysfunction, and even mood changes. Our comprehensive male hormone test measures testosterone and other related hormones to give you a complete understanding of your hormonal balance. Because testosterone levels are highest in the morning, we recommend testing before 10 a.m. for the most accurate results. Knowing your levels is the first step towards feeling your best.

For accurate PSA results, it is important to follow specific guidelines before your PSA test. You should avoid any form of sexual activity or ejaculation for at least 48 hours prior to your blood sample collection. Additionally, cycling or strenuous exercise should be avoided for 48 hours before the test. If you have recently had a prostate biopsy, cystoscopy, or any procedure involving your urinary system, you must wait at least six weeks before having your PSA tested. Please inform us if you are taking any medications that might affect your hormone levels or prostate health before booking your test.
